Meet Our Team
Educational Consultant Lesa brings with her 35 years’ experience in educating students. She is an experienced special educator at the classroom and administrative levels with demonstrated leadership in the delivery/development of professional development in all aspects of special education program services and in provision of technical assistance to improve outcomes of students with disabilities. Lesa has been a special education classroom teacher, a regional special education director, a state level coordinator, and the Special Education Director at the school district level. Each of her 35 plus years has been involved in some aspects of special education. She has taught at the elementary school level as a resource teacher and a general education classroom teacher. Lesa has planned and delivered professional development to teachers, administrators, and support staff in local school districts in co-teaching, school improvement, data analysis, writing standards-based IEPs, MTSS, discipline training and behavior support and creating plans for students transitioning from high school to post-secondary life. Lesa provides professional development participants with a practical approach to writing and implementing IEPs that are both compliant and best practice.
