Jeremy Brunty M.Ed
Jeremy comes to our team with 24 years of education experience as a special education classroom teacher, school level administrator, state level coordinator, and Special Education Director at the school district level. He has spent most of his career in the special education field. Jeremy has taught at the middle and high school levels, both in special education as a self-contained behavior disorder teacher, resource teacher and co-teacher. Jeremy has worked with districts at the state level to ensure students with disabilities were being provided their services as it was documented in the students’ IEP. Over the span of his career, Jeremy has provided countless professional developments to thousands of support staff, teachers, related service providers, administrators and district level leaders centered around special education including but not limited to IEP compliance, best practices in the classroom, IEP writing, disciplining students with disabilities, law and policy as it relates to IDEA and Policy 2419, co-teaching, MTSS, district level administrator training, scheduling and coaching teachers using best practices. Jeremy is high energy and creates a learning environment that is inclusive to all participants. Through his professional developments, he models best practices for teachers to utilize in their classrooms while emphasizing the relationship building aspect with students and adults.
