JENNIFER COCHRAN, M.ED.
Educational Consultant
Jennifer joined the ESSI team as a practicing elementary school principal. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from West Virginia State University and a master’s degree in leadership studies from Marshall University. Jennifer has served in the public school system in several capacities for the past 18 years, including: teacher, assistant principal, interim principal, and principal. She served as assistant principal and principal at the largest elementary school in her district for eleven years. At the highest enrollment, this school had over 600 students and over 60 staff members. She currently serves in a smaller Title I school. Jennifer also provides mentoring to numerous principals with five or less years of experience. Through her years of experience, she has become an expert at efficient school operations, instructional leadership, distributive leadership, and creating a positive school culture.
Mrs. Cochran holds permanent professional educator certifications in Elementary Education Teaching (K-6) and Administrative/Principal (PreK-Adult) through the State of West Virginia.
